This morning Erin decided she wasn’t going to join us on the moped ride, wise perhaps and I think she’s still recovering from her experience the other day, so it was just Amanda and I and we set off to see what we could discover. Old Lanta is a lovely little village with buildings on stilts over the water, some of the buildings are more than 100 years old and are GHs, restaurants and bars, but Amanda didn’t want to stop here. All she wanted to do was ride to the main town and sort out a snorkeling tour for the next day and do some shopping.

I have to say, at times, it seems a real shame that she doesn’t seem to be more into the whole being away thing, then at other times she’ll say she doesn’t want to go home.

It may sound like I’m going on about her a bit but I don’t mean to, I’m glad we met up and I’m glad we made the journey over to Ko Lanta together otherwise I may never have gone but it’s also a bit of a shame that we’re not more similar in what we want from a trip, Erin is definitely more into the whole traveling and experiencing things but Amanda just seems to overpower her.

Back at our bungalow we have a bit of a wander around and a bite to eat before trying to get an early night in preparation for tomorrows snorkeling.
